Detailed Itinerary


Day 1: Casablanca ▬ Marrakech


Begin your tour to Morocco when you arrive at Casablanca Airport and met your driver guide to start your Morocco adventure with a city tour of Casablanca. Begin at the Hassan II Mosque, Casablanca's most impressive sight. Completed in 1993, the Hassan II is one of the largest mosques in the world and one of only a few that non-Muslims can enter. Continue to Mohamed V Square, located in the heart of the city and surrounded by splendid examples of the design style known as Moresque, which combines both Moroccan and French architectural elements. Followed by Panoramic tour along the seaside, the harbour area, the Mohamed V square and the luxury residential area of Anfa. After your Casablanca tour, Continue on to Marrakech.

Day 2: Marrakech


Enjoys a stunning setting surrounded by the snow-peaked Atlas Mountains in the background. Much of the medina is surrounded by beautifully restored ramparts, and lovely palm gardens sit among the impressive buildings.
Your tour takes you to the Djemaa el-Fna, Marrakech’s main square. This amazing market seems straight out of Hollywood, with peddlers, musicians, dancers, acrobats, magicians, snake charmers, and storytellers galore. Narrow side streets lead into the medina, the old city.
Continue your tour to the Koutoubia Minaret. Considered a jewel of Islamic architecture, the minaret rises 230 feet and is visible from 18 miles. The mosque has a large plaza, walkways, and gardens as well as floodlights to illuminate its curved windows, a band of ceramic inlay and various decorative arches. Also on the agenda are visits to the Bahia Palace, and the ornately decorated Saadian Dynasty tombs.

Day 3: Marrakech ▬ Essaouira


Leave Marrakech in direction for Essaouira most charming coastal fishing towns and along the way, visit an Argan Oil Co-Operative Farm (argan oil is found only in Morocco and no where else in the world) and lunch in Essaouira. The afternoon will be spent visiting this splendid, artistic city, known for its production of Thuya wood. Essaouira is fortunate to have an excellent climate, with cooling sea breezes in the summer (also good for water sports) and warming lowland air in winter. This lovely climate, together with its beautiful Portuguese architecture from the 16th century, has always attracted artists and poets, but it continues to be a traditional fishing port at its heart to this day. Catch the sunset atop the ocean-facing ramparts, followed by a dinner of fresh seafood at one of the port's relaxed fish grills.

Day 4: Essaouira ▬ Agadir


After your morning breakfast departure from Essaouira head out towards Agadir taking advantage of the lovely drive along the Atlantic coastline. Stop for lunch and spend your afternoon admiring this fascinating city and beaches.

Day 5: Agadir ▬ Taroudant

Morning dedicated to visiting Agadir. Discover the port, the first sardine port in Morocco, with its sales on auction where traders haggle for fresh fish in the daily auctions, and marvel at the traditional craftsmanship used to build wooden fishing boats for hundreds of years, then The remains of the ancient Kasbah at the top of the famous Agadir hill the Kasbah and whose walls are the only traces left of ancient Agadir. Our tour ends with a trip to the colourful walled souk that houses Agadir's bustling local market. We continue to the walled Berber town of Taroudant and traditional capital of Souss, at the foot of the High Atlas Mountains.

Day 6: Taroudant ▬ Ait-ben Haddou ▬ Ouarzazate


After breakfast, free time to visit the town of Taroudant. Then departure towards Ouarzazate, crossing Jbel Siroua which peaks at 3304m. You will pass by Talaouine, the saffron capital and by Tazenakht; an important carpet weaving centre, after a scenic descent across a desert plateau. Before joining Ouarzazate city we will stop to visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou a UNESCO site, where we are going to have lunch, later we arrive in the Ouarzazate region and will rejoin a guest house in a pretty area.

Day 7: Ouarzazate ▬ Tinghir ▬ Todra gorges ▬ Merzouga


After breakfast, visiting the incredible Kasbah of Taourirt, and then heading toward Tinghir crossing the beautiful oasis of the palm grove in Skoura. Then to El Kelaa, the latter is a big village which is famous for cultivating roses, and every year, the villages celebrates the rose with a festival attended by hundreds of people from all parts of the world, after that we drive over the amazing Berber villages. Then we will continue exploring the marvelous Todra gorges then to the next destination which is Tinghir where you can have walk between the gorgeous oasis palm trees. After that we drive to Erfoud where we will discover the marble and fossils, later continue to Merzouga where the caravan of desert (camel) will be waiting for you for an adventure in Erg Chebbi dunes. You will spend the night in a bivouac (camp in the heart of the desert), tasting Berber food, listening to the drums in a starry night and sleeping in a traditional tent (camel hair tent) in calmness and tranquillity..

Day 8: Merzouga ▬ Midelt ▬ Ifran ▬ Fez


Rise early to greet the new day and, after mint tea and breakfast, return across the desert on your camels to shower and depart. Transfer direct from Merzouga to Fez along a road overlooking the wide flowing river Ziz. Passing Kasbahs and palm groves we pass through the adobe colored city of Errachidia. After lunch in Midelt, we continue into the middle Atlas Mountains Imouzzer and Ifran cities which are blanketed by forests of cedar, juniper and cork oak. The area is well known for having abundant wildlife and we may see many types of birds and Barbary apes on our scenic drive, we arrive in the late afternoon to Fez.

Day 9: Fez

Enjoy a day of sightseeing in Fez, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the oldest city in Morocco. Its walled medina is one of the most intact and impressive medieval cities in the Arab world and the contrast between the old city and the French-planned new city makes sightseeing all the more fascinating. You truly feel as if you're stepping into the past when you walk through one of the gates to the old medina. The medina is divided into two sections: Fez el-Bali, the older, larger section and Fez el-Jedid, the newer, smaller section. Your tour includes the Kairouine Mosque and University and the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss II, both at the center of the medina. Visit the Gate of Bab Boujloud, the main Gate of the Royal Palace and the Jewish Quarter.

Day 10: Fez ▬ Meknes ▬ Volubilis ▬ Rabat

Morning depart to the second imperial city, Meknes, which was the capital city under the reign of Moulay Ismail (1672-1727). This city is famous for its 40 km long city walls that preserve the most beautiful gate of Morocco, Bab Al Mansour. We will also visit the Royal Stables which housed up to 12,000 horses of Sultan Moulay Ismail. We will also visit the roman city of Volubilis. Volubilis features the best preserved excavations in this part of northern Africa dating from the Roman Empire. In 1997 the site was listed on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Then visit the holy city of Moulay Idriss where the founder of the Islam in Morocco is buried; this town is famous for its green rooftops and offers one of the most picturesque views of Moroccan town life. Later we will continue to Rabat the Barbary coast to the imperial city of Rabat; the administrative capital city of the Kingdom. We will see Mechouar (ramparts and walls surrounding the Royal Palace), the fortified Oudaya Kasbah, the marvelous Mohamed V mausoleum, Hassan Tower.
